Discovering Future Beginnings

Have you ever tried to remember the first time you ate an apple? And felt that sweet, cool juice pour into your mouth and down your throat every time you bit down on that crunchy, white goodness? In Wild Apples, Thoreau wrote that the apple was “introduced only a short time previous to the appearance of man on the globe,” and that an entire crab-apple was found alongside some of our earliest ancestors fossil remains. Just like those early humans, the apple has accompanied me on my life journey as well, from my first steps … to my first airplane ride across the Atlantic to a new country

 

history, the apple has been with me every step of my life’s journey as well.  No doubt many of us had to look up at our moms that very first time for help, our puzzled eyes asking, “How do I eat this Mom?”
